Electric Lawn Mower Bosch Rotak 32 Knife Replacement

Attention! Read the following instructions carefully. Carefully read the controls of the lawn mower and the rules for its proper use.

Explanation of the symbols applied to the mower:

  • Under no circumstances should children or persons who are not familiar with this manual use the lawnmower. Allowed user age may be limited by national regulations.
  • Never mow grass when people (especially children) and pets are in the immediate vicinity.
  • The user or owner of the device is responsible for possible accidents and damage that may be caused to unauthorized persons or their property.
  • You can not mow barefoot or in open summer shoes, you must always wear strong, closed shoes and long trousers.
  • It is necessary to carefully examine the area to be treated and remove stones, sticks, wire, bones and other foreign objects.
  • Before carrying out work, the lawnmower should always be visually inspected for signs of wear, damage or detachment of the knives, their screws and the cutting unit as a whole.
  • Worn or damaged knives and screws should only be replaced as a set to avoid imbalance. Be careful when handling lawnmowers equipped with multiple knives, as rotating one knife may cause other knives to move.
  • Mowing should only be done in daylight or with sufficient artificial light.
  • If possible, you should not use a lawn mower to mow raw grass.
  • Always move calmly, you can’t run.
  • Mowing on slopes can be dangerous:
  • Do not mow on particularly steep slopes.
  • When moving on an incline or damp grass, pay attention to the presence of a stable support.
  • When mowing grass on inclines, always move across the slope, not up and down.
  • Be especially careful when changing direction on a slope.
  • Use extreme caution when driving backward or when pulling the mower with you.
  • During operation, always push the mower forward and not pull it toward the body.
  • The knives must be stationary if it is necessary to tilt the lawn mower for transport purposes, cross sections that are not overgrown with grass, or move the lawn mower from one site to another.
  • Do not tilt the appliance while starting or starting the engine, unless it is required to start in tall grass. In the latter case, the deviation should be made only to the really necessary height, and the edge of the lawn mower should be lifted away from the user. Always make sure that both hands are on the handle when lowering to the ground.
  • Switch the mower on only with sufficient removal of the legs from its knives.
  • Do not tilt the mower at startup.
  • Keep hands or feet away from or under rotating parts.
  • Never operate the mower without a grass catcher / bag or chipper.
  • Never lift or carry the mower while the engine is running.
  • When adjusting the mower, avoid pinching your feet or hands between the moving knives and the stationary parts of the appliance.
  • Remove the plug from the outlet:
  • In all cases when you leave the device unattended,
  • Before removing locks,
  • When checking the mower, cleaning it, or other similar work,
  • After collision with a foreign body. In this case, the lawnmower must be inspected immediately for damage and repaired if necessary.
  • In case of unusual vibrations (immediate inspection required).
  • A prerequisite for the continued maintenance of a safe working condition is the tight fit of all nuts, bolts and screws.
  • The grass catcher / bag should be checked regularly for wear.
  • For safety reasons, worn or damaged parts must be replaced in a timely manner.
  • Before replacing, be sure to use genuine Bosch replacement parts.
