How to make a shovel for snow on a single-axle tractor. Home-made attachments

Sledgehammer (shovel) for power tiller

Residents of many countries on the territory of the former Soviet Union know firsthand how harsh the winters can be. a huge amount of snow falling in some regions seriously interferes with the life and movement of people. Fortunately, you can solve this problem by building a snowplow for power tiller. This simple design of the device will get rid of caked and fresh snow, saving time and effort its owner.

Many owners of agricultural machinery buy the blade on a single axle tractor in specialized stores, spending a considerable amount of money for the equipment. Nevertheless, this kind of mounted equipment has a very simple design, which allows you to easily assemble it with his own hands from improvised means. You do not need to have at their disposal specialized equipment or expensive materials. snow plow attachment to the tiller will get enough budget, but, at the same time, the most effective.

The first thing to do before making equipment. is to understand its design features. Any snow thrower for a power tiller consists of a fairly sturdy working organ, an attachment unit, a mechanism for adjusting the direction in which snow masses are thrown, as well as a power unit that holds the shovel to the chassis of the power tiller being used.

When building a snow shovel for a power tiller, it is best to focus on any of the store models. It is not necessary at all that the homemade snowplow has those additional options that are included in the design of the factory machine. For a start it is enough that the made shovel for a power tiller can successfully cope with its direct task. snow removal. Later on, when in operation, the homemade appliance can be fitted with useful additional functions.

Both factory and homemade shovels, can have 3 positions:

Immediately before the work, used homemade mounted snow thrower for power tiller should be turned to the left or right, observing the angle of inclination of 30 ⁰. Then you fix the machine in the right position with the steel cotter pins.

An important role when using a homemade shovel is its size. The most productive, and therefore the most effective on small and medium-sized areas will be the snow removal nozzle, width of 1 m and a height of 30-40 cm. But, in order for a device with such dimensions not to break under the weight of wet snow, the thickness of the metal must be at least 5 mm. If you create a nozzle with smaller dimensions, the material, respectively, can be thinner.

How to make a moldboard for a power tiller with your own hands. the order of actions and tips for beginners

The easiest way to make a shovel on a single axle tractor is to use a steel sheet, about 3 mm thick. This method will allow you to make a reliable device that will be able to cope not only with freshly fallen, but also with compacted snow.

Immediately before assembling the shovel, you should carefully study the drawings. In them it is necessary to specify the dimensions of each of the used parts, as well as suitable ways of their installation in the fabricated structure.

If the homemade snowplow will be regularly used for clearing snow drifts, then the bucket made of steel will need to be strengthened with corners or ribs of steel, at least 1 cm thick. It will be necessary to pre-drill holes in the used stands, which will make it possible to fix the shovel to the rods. It is extremely important that the homemade snow shovel is placed strictly in a vertical position. You will need to have a rod, shovel, pull rod, and a suitable bracket.

A homemade snowplow for a power tiller should consist of the following elements:

To assemble a snow blade, you will need the following tools and materials:

make, shovel, snow, single-axle
  • A hardened steel sheet with dimensions of 85 x 70 cm and a thickness of 3 mm;
  • Four plates of hardened steel, size 45 x 23 cm and a thickness of 4 mm;
  • 2 eyelets for fixing the rods used;
  • M8, M10 and M12 bolts, fixing nuts and washers;
  • A set of drills for working with metal;
  • wrenches and pliers;
  • A piece of thick, fairly dense durable rubber;
  • A piece of thick steel sheet;
  • Angle grinder and discs for working with metal;
  • electric welder;
  • an electric drill.

The sequence of steps in the manufacturing process is as follows:

  • First you need to make a suitable shovel on a single-axle tractor for snow removal. To this end, the steel plate is heated with a gas burner and bent in the shape of a semi-circle. After that, to the rear surface of the blade you need to weld the stiffeners, and in the front at the bottom of the blade bolt a rubber strip;
  • After that, it is necessary to weld one steel plate on each side of the bucket. they will hold the collected snow;
  • In the central parts of the welded side walls you need to drill one hole each;
  • Then a shaft with an auger mechanism attached to it is inserted into the holes made;
  • After assembling the blade, you will need to make a chute, through which the collected snow masses will be thrown to the side;
  • To make a chute you need to take a wide water pipe and weld it to the top surface of the made blade. To allow the snow to pass freely through the chute, in the part of the moldboard where the chute is installed, you will need to make a wide hole;
  • At the attachment point of the chute and blade, it is necessary to weld a thin steel plate, which will prevent the loss of the collected snow;
  • At the final stage, the finished snowplow on a single-axle tractor will need to be painted, thereby protecting it from corrosion. The result of the work done can be seen in the photo.

Made in this way, an auger snowplow on a single-axle tractor will give an opportunity to remove a large amount of snow. Depending on the power used by the screw mechanism, the range of snow masses will be from 2 to 8 meters.

Description

Shovel blade for power tiller. this is an attachment equipment, which is widely used at any time of the year by owners of homestead plots. Overview, application, use. about all this we will tell in this article.

The following jobs can be done with the mouldboard:

  • to clear snow patches along roads, sidewalks, in the yard and adjacent areas;
  • level soils, sift, sand;
  • rake-rake debris;
  • if the blade is shaped like a bucket. do loading work.

Making a ditch shovel from a gas cylinder

Another available means for making a moldboard shovel is a gas cylinder. This activity will certainly require a detailed plan. It must specify the parameters of the spare parts to be used and the order in which they will be assembled into a single structure. The construction works are carried out in the following order.

  • Release excess pressure from the cylinder, if any.
  • Cut off from both sides of the cover so that the width corresponds to one metre.
  • Cut the resulting pipe into 2 halves along its length.
  • Using a welding machine, join the two segments to make the moldboard approximately 700 millimetres high.
  • To mount the bracket you can do it as follows. From the thick iron cut out the braid. Make a series of holes to rotate the blade in different directions. Weld a piece of pipe to the braid.
  • Weld the prepared product to the snowplow at the level of the holder on the power tiller.
  • Mounting is performed with the help of a cylindrical rod.

The wall thickness of the cylinder is enough, there’s no need to reinforce it. However, the bottom can be equipped with a strong rubber, which will eliminate the loosened snow and not damage the rolled road. You need to take hard rubber from rotary. conveyor lines. The width of the rubber band is 100×150 mm. Make holes in the shovel by means of an electric drill to fix the rubber. To thoroughly fixate the rubber band, you need an iron strip 900x100x3 mm. Drill holes in the metal and in the rubber, marking the shovel in advance. Fix by means of bolts.

What other snow shovel options are available?

Manual modifications provide for gripping and throwing masses of snow to the side. The time-consuming task of clearing snow debris can be expedited by using manual wheeled bulldozers with shovels made of plywood, plastic or metal. Dimensions and material of the tool are chosen to eliminate the effects of specific types of precipitation of varying density. ice, loose snow, frozen snow masses.

Snow shovel on wheels Bulldozer

There are also shovel models with an auger incorporated into the bucket, which grinds the snow mass. The advantage of this type of shovel is the light weight of the plastic from which it is usually made.

To make manual work even easier, snow shovels are also attached to the following automated attachments in addition to power tillers:

On the front frame (applicable to machines with low ground clearance);

Front blade for ATV

On the central frame (provides high ground clearance and stability when performing snow removal).

Snowplow installation on a mini-tractor or off-road vehicle is easy to install and can be stored in the garage or trunk of the car. The design is equipped with a winch with an electric drive, which can be operated directly from the car. Blade angle is set depending on the density and amount of precipitation.

Makeshift snow shovel

To make a snowplow yourself on a single-axle tractor “Neva”, to begin with, you will need to gather the necessary tools and materials. So, we will need:

  • an old steel barrel for 200 liters;
  • A strip of iron with dimensions of approximately 850x100x3 mm;
  • 1 m square pipe with a cross section of 40×40 mm;
  • M10,M12 and M8 bolts, as well as washers and nuts;
  • a set of metal drills;
  • pliers;
  • a set of wrenches;
  • A sheet of thick, durable rubber;
  • a small, but thick, steel plate;
  • Angle grinder with metal discs;
  • welding machine;
  • hand-held electric drill.

Once all the tools, materials and drawings are collected, you can begin to make a moldboard for a power tiller with your own hands. The easiest solution would be to make a bucket from an old 200-liter barrel, because it initially has the optimum roundness. In this case it is not necessary to heat the metal sheets and bend them, giving them the desired shape. So, we need an old barrel, from which it is necessary to cut the lid and bottom with an angle grinder. The resulting pipe should be cut lengthwise into three equal segments. Two of these thirds need to be joined together along the contour with a welder, and the remaining third should be cut with an angle grinder into strips, which will be used to ensure sufficient rigidity. Attach one strip each to the sides of the shovel, and distribute several pieces evenly along the entire length of the blade.

The construction of a self-made snowplow blade

Now, for additional strengthening of the whole structure of the blade, you need to make the bottom of the bucket knife. You will need an iron strip with dimensions 850x100x3 mm. Using an electric drill drill drill three holes with a diameter of 5-6 mm and the distance between them is 100-120 mm. It is necessary for strengthening the rubber seal, which will prevent the bucket to damage the pavement. Bolt the blade to the working edge of the bucket.

After assembling the snow shovel and blade, make and mount the attachment for the blade. Weld a piece of pipe to the homemade power tiller blade in the center of the structure. Fix a semicircle of a thick sheet metal in the middle of the pipe by welding, and make a few holes in it in order to set the desired angles of rotation and fix the blade of the snowplow.

make, shovel, snow, single-axle

Next, you need to take another piece of square section pipe and make an L-shaped holder out of it. The short side of this holder is installed in a swivel semicircle, and the other end of the pipe is attached to the power unit frame with a bolt connection. To adjust the height of the blade, use two bolts screwed into the recess of a square tube, which is welded to the hitch and put on the L-shaped holder. Models and drawings of moldboards for the motor-block with their own hands

In northern latitudes, snow cover reaches up to a meter high. And not all management companies produce tractors to clean driveways. There are various ways of solving the problem. Who cleans with a simple shovel, and some use attachments or attachments. You can buy it or make a moldboard for a power tiller with your own hands from improvised materials.

Now many people prefer to live in their own homes, and, accordingly, the surrounding area occupies a large area. To work on the homestead plot, motor cultivators, motor blocks and mini-tractors are purchased.

In winter, snow removal turns into a competition to see who wins. And the owners of motorized vehicles prefer to clean snow with it. Attachments for a single-axle tractor are not cheap, so craftsmen prefer to make them themselves.

Widespread single-axle tractor of domestic production “Neva”. It has regular places for attaching devices and rubber wheels, which are adapted for driving on loose snow. Most homemade shovels were made for the Neva.

On the Internet you can find many descriptions and drawings of a shovel for a motorized block with their own hands. But before making it, you should familiarize yourself with the characteristics of the mouldboards. The composition of the product:

Turning the shovel to the side allows you to remove snow mass while driving. Going to sites for amateur craftsmen, you can find a lot of information on how to make a moldboard for a power tiller with your own hands.

The moldboard from a gas cylinder

One of the materials available for making the dozer blade is a gas cylinder. Its height is slightly more than a meter, and the recommended width of a shovel is 1000 mm. The works on manufacturing proceed in the following sequence:

    From the cylinder to bleed excess pressure, if any.

  • Cut on both sides of the cover so that the width is equal to one meter.
  • Cut the resulting tube lengthwise into two halves
  • Using a welder, connect the two halves so that the height of the moldboard is about 700 mm.
  • The mounting bracket is made as follows. From thick metal to cut a slash. Drill several holes in it to turn the shovel in different directions. Weld a piece of pipe to the braid.
  • The resulting device is welded to the shovel at the height of the bracket on the motoblock.
  • Installation is made by means of a thick pin.

The thickness of the cylinder is sufficient and reinforcement is not required. But it is possible to equip the lower part with a dense rubber, which will remove loose snow and not spoil the compacted road. To do this you need to take a rigid rubber from the rotary conveyor.

Rubber blade width 100-150 mm. Drill holes in the moldboard with an electric drill to fix the rubber. To securely fasten the blade you need a metal strip 900x100x3 mm. Pre-drill holes in the rail and in the blade by marking on the moldboard. Fasten with screws.

Shedding made of steel sheet

Some masters prefer to use new material, rather than used elements. You can make a self-made mouldboard shovel out of a 3mm thick steel sheet. For structural reinforcement take strip steel sheet of at least 5 mm thickness.

Cut the material according to the drawings. The shovel blade itself has four parts: the front, lower and two side parts. The welded structure needs to be reinforced. To do this, elements cut out of a five-piece are welded in a vertical direction.

Next, the swivel mechanism is made. It is an ear with a hole for the axle. The ear is welded to the angle bar, which is attached to the blade. You attach the axle to one end of the pipe and attach the other end to the power tiller. The desired angle of rotation is fixed with a pin (dowel pin).

3 mm. thickness is small, so reinforcement is required. Cut from a 3 mm sheet 850h100h3 strip. It can be fixed by bolt connection, but you will have to drill or weld the strip first.

As you can see, to carry out the work will be needed:

    working material;

  • Angle grinder with discs;
  • power drill with drill bits;
  • Bolts with nuts;
  • Welding machine with electrodes;
  • wrenches;
  • round or shaped tube.

If you have some skills, the work does not cause difficulties. And the resulting design can be used not only in winter but also in summer. To level the site after construction work, level the place for a children’s sandbox and more. It’s up to you which design to choose.

Homemade plow

For power tillers there are plows among other attachments: horse plow for plowing, turnover plow for loosening, tilling and others. Recently, the Zykov plow has become increasingly popular, the drawings, dimensions of which can only be found on specialized resources.

The main feature that distinguishes it from the mass produced ones are the carefully calculated angles of the mouldboard for an intensive mixing of soil. If we compare it with conventional models, we can see that the skimmer on the model Zykov is located in front at a greater distance, so the lifting angle is on an arc.

Fastening of the plow to the motoblock is made vertically. There is an adjustment of the output of the blade. Fastening is made by bolt connection. Blueprints of the plow for a mini-tractor with their own hands are different from those intended for a power tiller.

Independent installation of a snowplow on a single-axle tractor

Attachment of the blade to the power tiller is carried out by means of the brackets provided, which must first be installed on the engine frame of the power tiller. To use additional locking devices, you need to use the two existing rods, which are initially in a non-operational state. Thus, the rods will allow to relieve the used brackets. The blade provided in the design will need to be secured in the lower horizontal edge with bolts. You can see more details about how to attach the blade in the photo.

During the work it is necessary to monitor the height of the equipment, otherwise the engine of the power tiller will succumb to an increased load, and the bucket itself will scratch the decorative coating of the lawn.

Self-made snowplow can be installed and actively used on power tillers Neva MB-1 and MB-2, Oka, Salyut, Agro, Patriot, Cascade, MTZ, Agat and other agricultural machinery of domestic and foreign production. If necessary, a single-axle tractor with a dozer blade can also be fitted with a sweeping brush and other devices designed for cleaning.

Turning the shovel to the side allows you to remove snow mass during movement. Going to sites for amateur craftsmen, you can find a lot of information on how to make a blade for a power tiller with your own hands.

Dumpster from a cylinder

One of the materials at hand for making the moldboard is a gas cylinder. Its height is just over a meter, and the recommended width of the shovel is 1000 mm. The fabrication work proceeds in the following sequence:

  • Release excess pressure, if any, from the cylinder.
  • Cut on both sides of the cover so that the width is equal to one meter.
  • Cut the resulting pipe lengthwise into two halves
  • Using a welding machine, connect these two halves so that the height of the moldboard is about 700 mm.
  • Bracket for mounting is made as follows. From thick metal cut out a braid. Drill several holes in it to turn the shovel in different directions. Weld a piece of pipe to the bracket.
  • Weld the obtained device to the shovel at the height of the bracket on the power tiller.
  • Install by means of a thick thumb.

The thickness of the cylinder is sufficient and no reinforcement is required. But it is possible to equip the lower part with a dense rubber, which will remove loose snow and not spoil the compacted road. For this purpose, you need to take a rigid rubber from a rotary conveyor.

The width of the rubber blade 100-150 mm. Drill holes in the moldboard with an electric drill to fix the rubber. To securely fasten the blade requires a metal strip 900x100x3 mm. Drill holes in the strip and in the blade by pre-marking on the moldboard. Fasten it with screws.

Shovel made of sheet steel

Some craftsmen prefer to use new material rather than used elements. So you can make a homemade ditch shovel out of a 3 mm thick steel sheet. To reinforce the structure take a strip steel no less than 5 mm thick.

Cut the material according to the drawings. The blade of the shovel itself has four parts: the front, the lower and two side parts. The welded structure needs to be reinforced. To do this, the elements cut out of the hexagon are welded in a vertical direction.

Next, the swivel mechanism is made. It is an ear with a hole for the axle. The ear is welded to an angle that is attached to the blade. The axle is attached to one end of the pipe, and the other end is fixed to the power tiller. The required angle of rotation is fixed with a pin (dowel pin).

3 mm. the thickness is small, so you need reinforcement. Cut a 850x100x3 strip from a 3 mm sheet. You can fix it with a bolt connection, but you will have to drill or tack the strip with a weld first.

As you can see, to carry out the work will be needed:

  • working material;
  • Angle grinder with discs;
  • Electric drill with drill bits;
  • bolts with nuts;
  • welding machine with electrodes;
  • wrenches;
  • round or profiled pipe.

If you have certain skills, the work does not cause difficulties. And the resulting design can be used not only in winter but also in summer. To level the site after construction work, level the place for the children’s sandbox and much more. It’s up to you to decide what design to choose.

The adapter for the motor-block “Neva” is ready, it was tested in action, now the only thing left is to clean the welds and paint.

How to make a mouldboard for a motorblock with your own hands?

Shovel for power tiller. this is one of the easiest variants of the blade, but it does not mean that its production will require 30 minutes of time and a minimum of improvised materials. On the contrary, if you want to make a shovel for a single-axle tractor, you will need to prepare carefully and buy in advance all the necessary tools and materials.

In order to make the homemade moldboard as good as possible, be sure to study the drawings. They will tell you the size and order of attachment of the elements of the clearing device. After studying the blueprints in detail, prepare all the necessary equipment and materials. To work you will need:

  • Tin sheets, at least 3 mm thick. The dimensions of the sheets should be 85 x 22 x 45 cm;
  • 1 metal stand. a steel tube will do;
  • 4 stiffening ribs, about 4 mm thick;
  • a strip of steel long enough to cover the moldboard. The thickness of the strip should be at least 5 mm;
  • 2 eyelets for attaching the blade linkage;
  • a set of washers and nuts;
  • A square tube, with a cross-section of 4×4 cm and a length of 1 m;
  • a set of drills, with a diameter of 5-6 and 8-9 mm;
  • a flat piece of rubber;
  • 2 rods, 52 cm long each;
  • 1 sheet of steel, 10-12 mm thick with dimensions of 60 x 60 cm;
  • welding machine;
  • Angle grinder with discs for cutting steel;
  • A rotary tool or an electric drill.

With all of the above materials and tools at hand, it will be easier for you to make a mounted snow thrower for your power tiller. The correct procedure is as follows:

  • First, make the fence bucket. Take the ribs and weld them to form a frame with three horizontal and four vertical guides.Next, heat the steel sheets with a gas burner and carefully bend the metal so that it gets a bucket shape. Weld the finished element to the frame made of stiffeners. You should end up with a snow blade identical to the one shown in the photo;
  • Next, make a snow removal blade. this element should shred the snow that has accumulated and strengthen the snow blower on the single-axle tractor. To make the blade, take a steel strip and drill 3 equal holes in it, the diameter of which should be 5-6 mm. The distance between them should not be less than 10 cm. Next, fasten the blade with bolts, putting a rubber gasket between it and the bucket;
  • The next step is to make and mount the attachment mechanism. Cut off a piece of tube of 4×4 cm and weld it to the back of the dipper roughly in the middle of the element. In the middle part of the tube, weld a part in the shape of a semicircle. for this take a thick piece of steel. Make three equal holes in the semicircle, which you will need later for screwing in the bolts;
  • Next, take the same piece of pipe and make it into a holder that resembles the shape of the letter “G”. One end of the holder carefully inserted into one of the holes in the semicircle, and the other end securely attached to the frame of the power tiller;
  • Adjust the height of the bucket by means of two bolts screwed into the surface of the existing recesses in the square tube. details about making a snowplow will tell you about the video.

Making a shovel on a single axle tractor for snow removal must be sure to test the serviceability of the device. First of all, test the serviceability of the mechanism to adjust the height of the blade. this will give confidence that while cleaning in the yard you will not damage the decorative coating of the yard. Snowplow attachment to the motoblock should not overweigh the agricultural machine. if you notice that the center of gravity of the unit and attachments is violated, then be sure to attach weighting agents in the back of the motoblock.

Shovel from a gas cylinder. how to make your own hands?

One of the most common options is to make the moldboard from a 200 liter barrel or from a gas cylinder. Such a snow removal nozzle will successfully cope with the clearing of the lawn from frozen snow masses, and save your time and effort.

As in the first case, you will need a detailed diagram, which will detail all the dimensions and location of the main elements of the snowplow. Next, to make auger or rotary snow thrower will need to prepare the same materials and tools as in the first case. You do not need to buy steel sheeting and stiffeners. you can use a cylinder or barrel instead.

Snowplow for power tiller is made as follows:

  • Cut the empty barrel or cylinder into 3 pieces. you should end up with 3 curved segments to make a shovel;
  • Weld 2 segments of the obtained three to each other along the contour. As a result, you will get a product with a thickness of 3 mm. this is quite enough for quality snow removal;
  • To reinforce the bottom of the moldboard, install a strong steel blade. In the blade drill 3 holes with a pitch of 10 and a diameter of 6 mm. When installing the blade on the bucket, put a rubber gasket between the elements;
  • In the middle part of the installed pipe, weld a semicircle, in which beforehand make 3 holes. they will be used for reliable fixation of the bucket’s swivel corners;
  • Use another piece of pipe to make an L-shaped holder. Insert one end of the part into one of the holes in the semi-circle, and attach the other end to the frame of the power tiller. You can see the result of the work done in the photo.

The ready-to-use snow shovel will help remove large amounts of fresh and caked snow. Thanks to the bucket’s wide width, you can clear a wide swath, saving you time and effort.

For better cleaning of the adjacent territory on the manufactured blade can be installed sweeping brush. It must be bolted directly behind the bucket. If you want to use this element, you need to weld two pipes of at least 1 m in length to the side parts when making the dozer blade. A third pipe is welded perpendicularly to the pipes, and the brush itself is attached to it.

Snowblower device

A mounted auger snow blower has a metal body with a shaft inside. On the shaft there are auger blades of complex shaped steel plate. The shaft is mounted in bearings which allows it to rotate.

You can see the rotor inside. Above the rotor is a rotary nozzle. It can be turned to either side. To attach the auger snow blower, there is a hitch, inside which the power take-off shaft (PTO) of the power tiller is placed.

The torque is transmitted to the actuators. As the auger shaft rotates and moves forward, the snow is captured by the blades and moves from the periphery to the center. As the snow mass moves along the augers, it breaks down and its structure changes, so it will be easy to turn it sideways.

From the auger’s pick-up mechanism, the snow flows to the rotor blades. Here, its translational motion is converted into rotary motion. It gets a tangential acceleration and is ejected through a nozzle in a given direction: to the right or left as the snowthrower travels. Here the operator directs the deflector so that the cleared snow does not interfere with the performance of the work.

Making an auger snow blower for a power tiller with your own hands

To independently make a hinged homemade auger snowthrower (auger rotor), it is necessary to think through the placement of the main elements of the equipment, as well as to tie the dimensions to the existing motoblock. Therefore, first of all, the layout diagram of the device is created.

It is important to develop a mechanism to transfer torque from the PTO to the executive elements of the snow blower.

Necessary materials

To make a snowthrower auger-rotor type you need to buy:

  • Roof galvanized tinplate, it will be used to make the bodies of the auger and rotor, as well as the snow discharge pipe with the deflector;
  • Angle equipotential 40 or 50 mm, it will go to the manufacture of the frame;
  • 2 mm thick sheet of steel, from which the auger and rotor blades will be cut out;
  • Profile pipe is needed to make the brackets;
  • Bearing housings and bearings for shaft installation;
  • A tube or a circle with an outside diameter of 30 millimeters or more will be used as the shafts;
  • pulleys, sprockets and other elements of the transmission;
  • hardware for making detachable joints.

Making a homemade rotary auger snow blower

Approximate order of making a mounted auger rotor for snow removal:

  • Parts of the body of the auger are cut out of the tin roof. On a suitable cylinder they are bent. The frame of the auger body is welded from rolled angle or profile tube. The body and frame are connected into a single unit.
  • Auger parts. For this purpose, segments are cut out of sheet steel, and then the blades are formed from them. The auger shaft needs to fit the bearings, so on a lathe the surface is ground to fit the fit size of the supports as well as the transmission elements. Blades are welded to the shaft to form a worm that converges in the middle.
  • The bearing housings and bearings are assembled. Assembling the auger element of the snowplow.
  • The body of the snowplow rotor is cut out of sheet metal. Finely form the rotor body using suitable tools.
  • Rotor parts. Rotor blades are cut out of sheet steel. The rotor shaft is fitted to the bearings and transmission components. Blades are welded to the rotor shaft.
  • Required to perform the balancing, as the rotor rotates at quite a high speed.
  • The frame of the rotor body is welded from a bend or profiled tube. Bearing shells and bearings are fitted. Assembly: The complete rotor is assembled.
  • A homemade frame is made, on which the rotor and auger assembly will be placed.
  • Machine tool is assembled. The elements of the transmission are assembled.
  • Brackets for the connection of the working body with the power tiller are adjusted.
  • Carry out bench tests, which are used to determine the shortcomings and deficiencies. After eliminating the deficiencies, proceed to test the auger-rotor snowthrower in operating conditions.

It remains to use the manufactured rotary snow blower on a single-axle tractor according to its intended purpose.
