The process looks like this: a facing tool is put on, several turns are made, and you can immediately proceed with soldering. It is possible to use the pipe facing tool for ordinary plastic pipe without a reinforcing layer;
  • Shaver. Can be of different caliber, depending on the diameter of the pipe. Processing is done with a drill on which a nozzle is mounted instead of a bit. In doing so the speed of the drill should be carefully controlled. The nozzles remove both the inner and outer layer of foil. Choose the nozzle according to the type of reinforcement on the pipe. Scraping methods

Stripping methods differ depending on the method of reinforcement, and, accordingly, on the location of the reinforced layer: outside or inside. Each scraping method is performed with different tools.

Deburring the outer layer

If the pipe is reinforced by applying an external reinforcing layer, the connection with fittings is possible only when this external layer is melted and then stripped.

If stripping is neglected, the molten aluminum foil will not be able to bond with the polypropylene, and the connection will be unreliable.
