- Lubricate drill shanks with special grease;

- During intensive work, replace the rear rotor bearing every 6 months;after 70 hours, change the carbon brushes;
- When drilling holes on the ceiling, turn the puncher down and scroll in this position to transfer the lubricant into place;
- After work, be sure to blow the inside of the punch with compressed air;
- Change rubber cuff on the perforator cartridge more often;
- Prevent sparking on collector brushes in idle mode;
- The duration of continuous operation should not exceed a 30-minute interval;
- Do not use the “Blow” mode often.
When repairing a Bosch 2-20, 2-24, 2-26 rotary hammer, check the lubrication chart for lubrication points and lubricants.

Several types of lubricants are used to lubricate Bosch rotary hammers, depending on the operating conditions of components and parts.
Bosch rotary hammers use four types of lubricants:
- Grease 1615430001- for the gearbox and its cavity;
- Grease 1615430002- for gears, pendulum rolling bearings, clutches;
- Grease 1615430020. For bearings (FT1V26);
- Sae 20 W grease. For rubber products.
Lubricants vary in viscosity and consistency.

The assembly of other Bosch rotary hammers is carried out similarly, although some design features in the Bosch 2-20, 2-24, 2-26 rotary hammers are available.
Assembling the electrical part of the Bosch 2-26 hammer drill
Assembling a power tool, including a Bosch 2-26 hammer drill, should be done in a previously prepared location.Prepare the workplace by covering the table with clean paper or a napkin. Prepare the tools necessary for the job. Of the tools you will need: screwdrivers, pliers, a tester, a 100 g hammer, soft metal spacers. Spacers are useful when installing bearings on the rotor and the intermediate shaft of the Bosch rotary hammer, for their nozzle.

Assembling the rotor of a Bosch 2-26 rotary hammer
On a repaired or new rotor pos. 803, install the fan pos. 5, and bearings 13.13. To lubricate the rotor bearings, use Bosch grease 1615430020.
Installing the stator in the housing
The installation of the stator pos. 2 in the housing pos. 801 begins with threading the stator coils through the housing of the connecting wires. The stator in the housing is fastened with two screws pos. 80. To protect the stator from dust or dirt, a plastic casing pos. 45 is installed on it in the housing.
Install punch control nodes
In the case of pos. 801, sequentially install the Bosch rotary hammer power button, contacts of pos. 19 and the reverse switch board pos. Make sure that all leads are in special grooves in the handle of the punch.

Intermediate shaft assembly
The assembly of the intermediate shaft pos. 826 begins with the installation of the bearing pos. 67, the clutch pos. 62 and the drunk bearing pos. 830 on the shaft of the bearing.
A gear sleeve pos. 823, a needle bearing pos. 63, a compression spring pos. 81, a retaining sleeve pos. 65 are put on the shaft.
The intermediate shaft assembly is installed in the inner housing, pos. 820, and is fixed with a clamping bracket, pos. 48.

The assembly of the shock mechanism assembly begins with the installation of a spur gear of pos. 22, a bevel spring of pos. 80, snap rings of pos. 85 and a steel ring of pos. 38 on the shaft of the barrel pos.
The installed gear pos.22 on the shaft shaft is fixed by the roller pos.88, which does not allow the gear to rotate on it.
On the opposite side, a hammer pos. 847 assembly and a shock piston pos. 26 assembly are inserted into the shaft cavity.

The drummer assembly begins with the installation of the rubber rings of the sealing poses. 74.75, scraper pos. 71. The assembled drummer fits snugly into the cavity of the table.
Assembly of the shock piston begins with the installation of two washers pos.41. To keep the washers in the piston groove, lubricate the grooves with grease. It remains to install the piston pin pos. 29. In the internal cavity of the shock piston, install the striker pos. 27 and insert the entire structure into the cavity of the shock mechanism barrel.

Install the shock shaft and countershaft in the inner housing, pos. 820.
Assembly of the mechanical assembly and rotor
A rotor joins the assembled mechanical unit. The gears of the rotor and the shock mechanism assembly fit tightly into each other. To install the rotor in the mechanical assembly of the perforator, it is necessary to insert the helical gear of the rotor into the inner housing until the large gear of the intermediate shaft contacts the helical gear. After assembly, rotate the rotor, checking for smooth rolling.
The connection of the rotor and the mechanism of the shock barrel
The assembled mechanical unit is closed by the black plastic cover pos. 819. The cover is fastened with four screws pos.90, with the installation of a rubber sealing ring pos.77. Before mounting, be sure to lubricate the rubber o-ring with SAE 20 W.
It remains to connect the stator housing (green) with the housing of the mechanical unit (black). Cases are connected by four screws.
At the last stage, carbon brushes pos.811 are installed in the brush holders of the reverse switch pos.16. The button pos.4 of the speed controller is inserted into the handle.
The button connects the wires from the stator windings pos. 101, 102, power cable pos. 806.
Rotate the shaft of the percussion mechanism (first manually and then energized), and make sure that the rotor rotates smoothly and the brushes do not impede its movement, evenly touching the collector lamellas. Sparks in the area of the brushes do not have a tail, but evenly spark over the entire width of the working part.
It remains to close the cover pos.41 with two screws pos.77.
Setting the mode knob
To install the mode selector knob pos. 832, you must put the Bosch 2-26 rotary hammer on its side.
Setting the mode switch
The assembled mode switch handle, pos. 832, is installed in the puncher body so that the red button of the handle is directed parallel to the punch handle.
The handle rotates clockwise to the “drilling” position. A characteristic click will occur. The punch handle is inserted.
Be sure to check the operation of the mode switch by turning it to the desired position and turning on the hammer in each mode.
Quick release chuck assembly
Bosch rotary hammers use the SDS-plus model chuck.
Structurally, they differ in the clamping device of the working bodies.
The assembly of the perforator cartridges is carried out after the cartridge is repaired and the destroyed part is replaced.
Before assembling the cartridge, it is imperative to check the fixation balls. They should not have traces of corrosion, and their diameter should not differ from the nominal by more than 0.01 mm.

The build quality of the quick-release cartridge is determined by its performance. Insert any tool with the appropriate shank into the hammer drill. Holding the body of the drill with your hand, try to pull it out of the cartridge on weight. If you fail to do this, then the cartridge is considered reliable.
