What oil to fill in the single axle tractor tarpan

The gasoline and electric cultivator ≪Tarpan

The gasoline-driven ≪Tarpan≫ cultivators were created in Tula in the early ’90s. They were low-powered and not in demand. But in 6 years the manufacturers showed a new development with American 4-stroke gasoline engine of 6 liters.с. Then came a model with a 4-stroke, more productive Japanese engine capacity of 5.5 liters.с.

Now the brand ≪Tarpan≫ is represented by electric and gasoline cultivators and various attachments to them. The equipment found a wide demand in the domestic and foreign markets.

It is strictly forbidden to use summer car oil in the winter. At the first opportunity, experts recommend making sure to replace the car oil in the snowthrower with a specialized lubricant.

That is why it is strongly not recommended to use motor oil to keep your power tiller in working condition. After all, using an automotive one leads to accelerated wear and tear of cylinders and engine piston group as a whole that eventually causes engine failure.

Attachments

Tulamashzavod” plant and its subsidiaries produce versatile attachments that fit not only to Tarpan cultivators but also to other devices of domestic and foreign production.

A wide range allows you to pick up devices for any work:

  • Ploughs. for deep plowing with full turnover of the earth layers;
  • Hillers are used for cutting ridges and furrows before planting. They are used in conjunction with skids, which help to create the necessary traction force;
  • Skidders. ground knives with knives, fixed on the hub, designed for weeding between the rows and loosening the soil;
  • Grit hooks. improve traction when cultivating loose soils;
  • Side protection discs. prevent damage to plants with cutters during work;
  • Cutters of a goose-foot type are designed for plowing hard soil;
  • Frames with transport wheels. used for carrying various loads.

Extra equipment

To expand the capabilities and functionality of the cultivator, gardeners use additional sets of attached tools. the latter are needed for tilling, hoeing, planting or digging potatoes, mowing lawns. Original accessories for “Turpan” cultivator are sold in official representatives of the manufacturer. Besides, a universal coupling device allows to combine the machine with similar tools made for similar equipment.

Soil tiller

fill, single, axle, tractor, tarpan

Tillage tools for loosening and cultivating the soil. These burrs are also used for mixing mineral fertilizers on farmland and in vegetable growing to saturate the soil with microelements. The machine is supplied with 4 rotary cultivators. They are installed in pairs on the output shaft of the worm gearbox. This arrangement allows a 65 cm wide swath of land to be worked. In addition, the machine has been designed for the attachment of two more rotary hoes (one on each side). In this case the width of cultivation reaches 1 m.

An important element in agricultural work. plowing of virgin lands. It is not possible to process them with tillers. Rotating blades quickly become clogged with plant trash and lumps of dirt. In addition, with the low weight of the machine it is not possible to go deep into the ground and the operator has to run behind the cultivator. The plough, on the other hand, undercuts the soil layer and turns it upside down. Such cultivation allows to properly prepare the land for future sowing, plow compacted soil and fertilize it.

Gardeners prefer to use a collapsible plow. The combined design allows the cutting part to be made of stronger metal and can be replaced as it wears out.

Mowers and rakes

Cultivator construction itself does not provide for mounting grass mowing devices. Mowers from third-party manufacturers stipulate that the machine has a PTO. But the lightweight Tarpan has none of this. But the modular design allows the drive unit to be coupled with other implements. This is how the original manufacturer’s Struna rotary mower works. According to the technical data, the tandem is able to cope with mowing young grass on lawns as well as with clearing the land from tall weeds. To gather hay, farmers use a trailed rake that is installed in the rear dock.

Potato digger and potato planter

It’s hard to imagine a farm without potatoes. There is always room for this crop. For planting tubers on a large area, gardeners use potato planters. This mechanism simultaneously performs a number of operations: forms a furrow, evenly spreads the tubers in the recesses and buries the groove. The spreading mechanism, which periodically feeds the planting material, is driven by a pair of wheels.

Tarpan cultivators

The high-quality Honda, Champion and Zongshen engines provided high efficiency of the machines.

Advantages of cultivators:

  • Powerful worm gearbox.
  • The engine is cooled by an air filter, and the carburettor lasts longer.
  • There is an attachment.
  • All controls on the steering wheel.
  • Height adjustable steering wheel.
  • Rubber-coated handles make it easy to change the angle or turn the cultivator.
  • Faster clutching thanks to reliable spark plugs.
  • The 2-part mower unit separates the mower easily into 2 parts and can be easily transported in the trunk of a car.

Is it necessary to add oil to petrol for a power tiller??

The engines of motor blocks are of two types: two-stroke and four-stroke. The engine of the machine is also important. diesel or gasoline. The question of whether it is necessary to pour oil into gasoline, the owners of diesel power tillers do not have. Plus, all four-stroke motor blocks are diesel, so we put them aside, here oil is not added to the fuel.

For gasoline-powered machines with a two-stroke engine, oil must be added to gasoline. It is done in the following proportions. 1 part oil and 4 parts gasoline. So if an engine is designed for 1000 liters, then 200 ml of oil and 800 ml of gasoline are poured into it. You must know which oil to use from the manufacturer’s manual. So there are no clear limitations here, you just need to look at the weather. In fact, there are three types of oil. summer, winter and general for all seasons.

Motor cultivator Tarpan is a universal small-sized unit designed for mechanization of hard physical labor for soil cultivation at homestead plots.

Recommended area to be cultivated up to 0,2 ha.

Tarpan mowing cultivators are manufactured in Tula city at Tulamashzavod plant.

A distinctive feature of this cultivator is the ability to disassemble it into two parts and fit into the trunk of most sedans.

Motor cultivator Tarpan operation manual download

Tillage operations are carried out with the aid of the MC rotary cultivator. Cutters of the cultivator cut the soil layers during the rotation, crumbling and mixing them, at the same time causing progressive movement of the MC forward.

Advantage of rotary cultivator as compared with plough is better soil loosening, chopping and weed embedding as well as uniform mixing of organic and mineral fertilizers on the whole working depth.

The MC is also recommended for heavy clay soils, because of the high torque on the shaft and the good crumbling of the soil.

Tillage of virgin soil by milling is not recommended. This would break the agro-technology of tillage.

MK Tarpan consists of the following main parts ;

  • Power pack includes engine, coupling device, centrifugal clutch, steering
  • Operating unit, including a worm gearing, left rotary cultivator, right rotary cultivator, depth regulator, bracket, protective cover.

To extend functional capabilities of this cultivator additional additional tools and accessories were developed and delivered separately. They can be used for mowing, furrow cutting, weeding and other works.

Cultivator Tarpan attachments

Designed for cutting the grass cover of lawns and lawns to a specified height. Mounted instead of an implement and connected to a power pack.

Mower with working width 0,6 m is intended for cutting of the grass and weeds on open countryside and hard-to-reach places near trees, curbstones, fences. With a shearing head speed of 3,800 to 4,600 rpm. Grass is easily cut and tossed to the side. Polypropylene lint string is used instead of blades on the mower. The mower can be easily dismantled into its power unit and implement, and easily transported in the trunk of a car.

Hiller used with MB Tarpan-03, 04 and MB Tarpan-07 consists of frame and mouldboard adjustable with help of slat bar with holes. It is used for hilling of vegetable crops, cutting of ridges and furrows and furrowing. The tiller must be used in conjunction with the skimmers, which create the necessary traction force.

Threshers are used with the MK Tarpan-03, 04 and MB Tarpan-07. They consist of grousers and knives, mounted on a hub and are designed for weeding and loosening of soil. Minimum width of hoeing 350 mm. Shaft boards are installed on gearbox output shaft of MC instead of rotary cultivators.

Cultivator blades as they rotate cut the soil layers, crumbling and mixing them, while causing forward movement of the MC.

260×80 tines are used with MK Tarpan-03, 04

Transport frame with wheels is used with Tarpan-03, 04 machines

Protective disk are used with MK Tarpan-03, 04 and MB Tarpan-07

Goose-foot tillers are used with MC Tarpan-03, 04

Working principle of MK: MK shaft is driven by engine via reduction gear, on which tillage cutters of rotary cultivator are installed. Cutters, rotating, loosen top soil layer and simultaneously move MC forward. MK design enables quick separation of power unit 1 from operating unit 2. To do this, release the hinged bolts 3.

The power unit includes a 4-stroke engine block 1, coupling device 2, clutch 3 and steering 4

MOTOR UNIT. For the structure of the engine, see the Engine Manual.

Steering control allows you to adjust the position of the handles in the vertical and horizontal planes, which makes it possible to work the beds without trampling the soil when the steering wheel is turned horizontally. For transportation convenience (size reduction) a steering wheel should be turned to the side of engine.

The engine remote control unit allows you to change the engine speed with the control lever 2 and stop the engine by pushing the lever down to the stop.

centrifugal clutch transmits engine torque to the reduction gear when the engine reaches the required rpm. Clutch provides MC for no-holds-barred start.

WARNING! To prevent damage to the clutch parts, do not start the engine until the power unit is connected to the gearbox or other working parts.

It is RECOMMENDED to drop 1-2 drops of engine oil once a season between the pad axle and bushing 4 (two places) used in the engine to improve clutch performance.

Gearbox (Fig.5) single-stage, worm, with oil bath. The gearbox housing is flush with holes for mounting the transport device and other attachments.

Cultivators 1, 2 left and right are mounted on the gearbox shaft and fastened with axles with locks.

stand behind the wheel and grasp the handles firmly;

Press down slowly on the engine speed control lever and increase the engine speed gently;

when the engine has reached the required speed the centrifugal clutch is automatically engaged, the gear shaft starts turning and the mower starts moving. working depth of rotary cultivator tines is determined by the position of depth adjustment. which can be changed by repositioning it in the bracket through the holes in the regulator.

The tool is lowered into the ground by actuating the control lever. depth adjustment is lowered into the ground while forward speed is reduced. The deeper the regulator enters the ground, the lower the speed of the MC and the greater the working depth. If the MC does not move forward and the tillers dig into the ground lift it by the steering wheel.

If the MC takes away to the side of the treated area, you should move the working MC in the opposite direction. Turn the mower unit by tilting it to the right or left. WARNING! Maintain the distance between the machine and the length of the handlebar.

When cornering, do not pull the power tiller towards you, but rather push it away. When cultivating loose (friable) soil, make sure that the cutters do not sink completely into the soil, causing overloading of the engine. On heavy plots, cultivate in several stages, in layers, each time increasing the cultivation depth, thus ensuring good crushing of soil clods and its uniform structure. Mow and remove all tall vegetation before ploughing. When cultivating areas with plant residue, plant residue can wind up in the tines of the MC rotary cultivator.

Clean rotary hoe blades periodically. To reduce winding of plant debris on cutters, one can use sabre-shaped blades, used on Mole, Salyut rotary cultivators. During the operation of the MC blunt blades of rotary cultivators, which impairs their plunge into the soil, reduces the working depth per pass, reduces productivity. Resharpen blades as needed.

Maintenance of the Tarpan cultivator

Watch for hourly and calendar maintenance, whichever comes first. In case of severe operating conditions of MC, it is necessary to perform maintenance more often.

Carry out engine maintenance according to the engine manual”.

Types and frequency of maintenance

After the first 5 hours of operation change oil in gearbox.

Every 5 hours or daily clean and wipe MC.

Checking tightness of connections of engine parts for oil and fuel leakage. Check the fasteners. Checking oil level in the gearbox.

Every 25 hours. or every season check and clean the clutch.

Every 100 hours. or every year oil change in gearbox, lubrication of control rod and control unit.
